The Tutoriales section provides general-purpose installation guides for GPS tracking professionals. Unlike cut point records — which are specific to a single vehicle model and year range — tutorials cover techniques and concepts that apply across many vehicles. Access tutorials by tapping Tutoriales in the main navigation.
Tutorials are general guides covering techniques and component identification. For vehicle-specific wiring data (cable colors, cut locations, relay configurations), use the Cut points section.

What tutorials cover

Tutorials in GPSpedia focus on three main areas:

Disassembly techniques

How to safely remove interior trim panels, dashboards, door cards, and center consoles to access wiring harnesses without damaging the vehicle.

Cable identification

How to identify specific wire types, locate the correct harness connectors, and use a multimeter to verify circuits before cutting.

Interior panel removal

Step-by-step procedures for removing specific panel types — including clip locations, hidden fasteners, and reassembly notes.

Tutorial structure

Each tutorial record contains the following fields:
The title of the tutorial — for example, “Cómo identificar el cable de la bomba de combustible” or “Desmontaje de tablero en vehículos japoneses”.
A representative photo or diagram for the tutorial topic. Tap to open in the lightbox.
A description of how to recognize the component or situation covered by the tutorial — for example, what a fuel pump relay looks like or how to distinguish ignition wires from accessory wires.
Guidance on the typical physical location of the component across common vehicle types — for example, under the dashboard on the driver’s side, behind the glove box, or in the engine bay fuse block.
The main body of the tutorial. Contains step-by-step instructions, safety notes, and additional context for the technique being covered.
An embedded YouTube video demonstrating the technique. The video plays inline within the tutorial view and stops automatically when you close the tutorial or navigate away.

Using tutorials effectively

1

Open the Tutoriales section

Tap Tutoriales in the main navigation to see all available tutorial cards.
2

Select a tutorial

Browse the topic cards and tap the one relevant to your current task — for example, a panel removal guide before you need to access a dashboard harness.
3

Read the identification and location guidance

Review the Cómo identificarlo and Dónde encontrarlo sections first to orient yourself before starting physical work on the vehicle.
4

Follow the detailed steps

Work through the Detalles section. If a video is available, watch it before or alongside the written instructions.
5

Return to the cut point record

Once you have identified the correct harness location or completed the disassembly, navigate back to the specific vehicle’s cut point record to confirm the exact wire color and relay configuration.
Watch the video guide at reduced playback speed (0.75×) when learning a new disassembly technique. This makes it easier to follow connector clip positions and tool angles before working on an actual vehicle.
