GPSpedia includes two per-cut feedback mechanisms that help surface reliable data and flag incorrect records. These controls appear as overlay buttons on each cut point image.

Marking a cut as useful

If a cut point record is accurate and helped you complete an installation, tap the 👍 Marcar como útil button overlaid on the cut image.
  • The button turns green immediately, giving you instant visual confirmation that your vote was recorded (optimistic UI).
  • Your vote is persisted for the current session. You can only vote once per cut point per session — the button becomes inactive after you vote.
  • The total number of useful votes determines which cut point is labeled Recommended when a vehicle has multiple cut records for the same ignition type. The cut with the most votes is promoted to the top and marked as the recommended option.

Reporting a problem

If a cut point contains incorrect data — wrong wire color, incorrect location, a bad image, or any other error — tap the ⚠️ Reportar un problema button on the cut image.
1

Tap the report button

Tap ⚠️ Reportar un problema on the cut image you want to report.
2

Describe the problem

A prompt appears asking: “Describe el problema con este corte:”Enter a clear description of what is wrong. For example: “El color del cable está incorrecto, debería ser rojo con franja negra”.
3

Submit

Tap OK to send the report. If you tap Cancel or leave the field empty, no report is submitted.
Problem reports are sent directly to the admin Inbox. An administrator will review the report and update or remove the affected cut record. You will not receive an automated reply, but your report is visible to the team immediately.

Suggesting a year range

If you believe a vehicle record applies to a year range that is not currently listed, you can submit a year suggestion using the suggestYear action available within the detail modal. This sends a request to the admin team to extend or adjust the applicable year range for that record.

Contacting the team

For general feedback, questions, or issues that are not tied to a specific cut record, use the contact form:
  1. Scroll to the footer of any page.
  2. Tap Contáctanos.
  3. Fill in the form and submit.
The contact form is suitable for feature requests, account issues, and general platform feedback.
