No. GPSpedia does not track vehicles or manage GPS devices. It is an informational and technical reference platform. Its purpose is to provide GPS installation professionals with accurate wiring data, cut point references, relay configurations, and installation guides — not to operate or monitor tracking hardware.
The technical information presented on GPSpedia is a compilation of publicly accessible data and practical field knowledge, organized for educational and professional use. It is structured to support the GPS installation community and is not intended for commercial resale.
Yes. The content is designed to support real technical work. That said, GPSpedia always recommends that installations be carried out by trained, qualified personnel. The platform provides reference material — responsibility for safe and correct installation lies with the technician.

Yes. GPSpedia is designed to grow and improve continuously. Users with Tecnico, Supervisor, or Jefe roles can contribute new records and vote on existing entries to improve data accuracy over time.
GPSpedia is not a substitute for professional training. However, it offers technical references, wiring diagrams, and installation guides that support experienced technicians in their work. The platform complements hands-on training rather than replacing it.
Accounts are created by a Jefe administrator. To request access, submit the contact form in the app footer under Contáctanos. Include your name, email address, and a brief description of your role. A platform administrator will follow up.
If a specific vehicle isn’t listed, GPSpedia provides descriptive tutorials and reference material to help technicians identify cut points independently. The platform also accepts new record submissions — if you have accurate data for a missing vehicle, you can contribute it directly.
Use the ⚠️ report button directly on the cut point image or entry in question. This sends a problem report to the platform inbox, where a Jefe can review and correct the data. For general feedback or questions, use the contact form.
Votes indicate community confidence in a cut point entry. Tecnico and Supervisor users can vote on entries they have verified in the field. Higher vote counts signal that an entry has been confirmed accurate by multiple technicians.
No. Usernames are permanent and cannot be changed after account creation. You can update your display name (Nombre Completo) and password from the Mi Perfil / Usuarios page, but the username itself is fixed.
Use the contact form accessible from the footer under Contáctanos. Describe your issue in the message field and include your email so the team can respond. For data-specific problems, use the ⚠️ report button on the relevant catalog entry instead.
