GPSpedia is a technical reference platform for professionals who install and configure GPS tracking, vehicle security, and control systems. It centralizes vehicular cut point data, relay configurations, and installation tutorials in one place — reducing field errors and cutting down installation time. The platform is designed for technicians, installers, supervisors, and team leads who need fast, reliable access to standardized vehicle information.

What’s in the catalog

GPSpedia is organized into three main sections: Cortes — Vehicle cut points, covering fuel pump cut, ignition signal cut, ignition cut, and door release. Each entry is ranked by community votes and includes up to three validated cut types per vehicle. Browse by category, brand, model, and year range. Tutoriales — Step-by-step installation tutorials that walk you through common GPS installation procedures, wiring sequences, and device configuration workflows. Relay — Relay configuration diagrams linked directly from cut point detail views. These diagrams show how to wire relay circuits correctly for each cut type.

How the catalog is structured

Vehicle data follows a four-level hierarchy:
  1. Category — vehicle type (e.g., sedan, pickup, motorcycle)
  2. Brand — manufacturer (e.g., Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet)
  3. Model — specific model name
  4. Year range — applicable production years
Real-time search matches across brands and models simultaneously, so you can find a vehicle quickly without navigating the full hierarchy.

User roles

Access in GPSpedia is governed by role-based permissions. Each account is assigned one of three roles:
